Kant and Hume and Causality?

Kant claimed that Hume%26#039;s proposed solution to the problem of causality %26quot;is as much as to say that there is not, and cannot be, any such thing as metaphysics at all%26quot; (Prolegomena, %26quot;Preface,%26quot; p. 3). Show how Hume threatened the possibility of metaphysics (as Kant understood it) and sketch how Kant tried to rescue it. Thanks!
Kant and Hume and Causality?
Hello:

Hume was all about the Empiricism...you can only know what you have experienced with your senses...This pretty much rules out Metaphysics by their own definition. Kant was all about merging Rationalism and Empiricism and felt (I think) through a priori concepts (things that exist before we can learn about them...) like math...and I would assume God. I do not remember specifically how he proves God though.

I hope this helps
