Since writing on toilet walls is done neither for critical acclaim nor financial rewards...?

is it the purest form of art?

No, its mostly garbage talk.
Since writing on toilet walls is done neither for critical acclaim nor financial rewards...?
for a good time call.......
Reply:It seems eerily similar to what we are doing right now.
Reply:no just senseless graffiti but it does help to pass the time
Reply:well i guess because it is mainly opinionated and driven by emotion
Reply:Not by an artists point of view.
Reply:No, its not art at all. Its more like random thoughts.
Reply:Very little thought or time is usually invested in this type of %26quot;art%26quot; so I think it%26#039;s less pure despite the lack of acclaim or financial rewards.
Reply:No, it%26#039;s the sincerest form of selfishness.
Reply:the inherent sexism of creating a masterpiece in an engendered locale defiles the act
Reply:i think sometimes it is incredibly insightful. i was in a stall recently and %26quot;I%26#039;m jealous%26quot; was scribbled on one wall. in an other stall %26quot;even though i broke up with him i still really care for him%26quot;. was scrawled in the same hand writing. it may not be Shakespeare but it made me stop and ponder for a moment.
Reply:No. It is a cry for attention from folks who aren%26#039;t NEARLY as clever as they think.
Reply:what do you mean it%26#039;s not for critical acclaim?

surely you know they think they%26#039;re the smartest around.

and want everyone else to see that.

the only reason they don%26#039;t sign it is that they%26#039;d get in trouble.
Reply:I guess it is like a temporary declaration of some one being there before it is painted over. If you really one to make a statement take a bowie knife into the stall next time instead of a magic marker and carve your way into the wall or scratch up the door into immortality!
Reply:expression can always be a pure form of art.
Reply:Personally I would consider it an anonymous %26quot;after thought.%26quot;
